Coronavirus Update!

Dear Friends, Volunteers, Clients and Supporters:

To ensure the health of our community, employees, volunteers and animals - and upon the recommendation of health officials – The Clearfield County SPCA will be closing our facility to the public until further notice.

Our dedicated staff will be onsite to provide essential services and care for the animals as noted below:

1. Our shelter pets will continue to be cared for by our staff as usual. 2. The Clearfield County SPCA will still be accepting and returning phone calls between the hours of 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. If you call outside of these hours please leave a message and someone will be with you as soon as we are available to. 3. Individuals who find a stray animal or need to surrender an animal must first contact The Clearfield County SPCA at 814-765-2220 to set up an appointment or contact the local Animal Control Officer or Police Department for their municipality. The Clearfield County SPCA will continue to work with Animal Control Officers and Law Enforcement for intakes into our shelter. The Clearfield County SPCA will continue to accept stray animals from the public at this time by appointment only. 4. Our Facebook Page and e-mails will be answered daily, so if you have any questions please feel free to contact us through them.

On a daily basis, the Clearfield County SPCA is focused on the health and well-being of our animals. And now, during this critical and uncertain time, we are implementing these measures to safeguard the health and safety of our community and to ensure that we are here for the animals in the months ahead.

Thank you for your understanding and support of these changes. We wish you and your family the very best in health and security in the weeks ahead.

Very Sincerely, Your Friends and Partners at the Clearfield County SPCA
