INSTRUCTIONS FOR CREATING A FIRSTGIVING ONLINE DONATION PAGE

While earning more donations for the SPCA.

Following are instructions to set up your First Giving Page to make it easy for those you might not see to donate for your pets! You can easily e-mail your link to friends, family and fellow pet lovers all over the world.

Click on “Start Fundraising”

It will prompt you to create an account if you do not already have one.

Choose the option to “Join a public event or campaign.” Then click “I’m taking part in an organized event.

It will ask you what kind of even this is, choose “Other”

Use June 10, 2017 as the date of your event, and choose June 10, 2017 as the day first giving will stop accepting your donations.

It now gives you the option to name your page whatever you would like, add a photo, and add a description of your event. You can either use your own picture or if your picture was taken at a shoot this year, go to the Clearfield County SPCA Facebook page. There is an album called Calendar Contest. You can save your picture to your computer and then upload it to your First Giving page. If you cannot go to the Facebook page, contact the SPCA at webmaster@clearfieldcountyspca.org and we can e-mail you a copy of your picture.

It will also ask you what your fundraising pages URL should be, just type your pets name at the end of the URL already provided.
