The Clearfield County SPCA is safely

reopening to the public at this time:

  • We will continue to follow CDC guidelines as a precaution for all of our staff, volunteers, and hopeful adopters. Please help us help you and be considerate of others during this time.

  • If you are interested in adopting and would like to visit the animals we please ask you to call ahead.

  • If you are unable to visit during our open hours (listed below) we will schedule appointments within reason.

  • We will ask everyone entering the building to wear a mask at all times while inside the building.

Please follow these guidelines for your safety and ours:

  • All visitors and staff must wear a mask and maintain social distancing of 6 feet

Services offered by appointment:

  • Call the shelter to schedule an appointment for all of the following:

  • Bringing in a stray pet

  • Help surrendering your pet

Call us at 814-765-2220 to report concerns of animal neglect or cruelty.

In-kind donations are always welcome!

These include towels, blankets, food, toys and other supplies. You can leave items inside of our front foyer between 11 AM and 5 PM every day, except Sundays and Wednesdays.

To donate other essential supplies, refer to our Wish List on Chewy and have items shipped directly to the shelters. Financial donations are always appreciated to help make up for reduced service income and rising costs of supplies.

Always remember your local SPCA is essential part of the community and without you, the community, we wouldn’t be here. We will forever be grateful for your continued support and all of the animals here thank you!

Throughout the pandemic, we’ve never stopped answering the call for help. We made adjustments to how we provide services, but our shelter is never closed. Animals in distress will continually get the care they need and deserve. Now we will reopen to the public and continue our goal of Giving Animals A Better Tomorrow.

We are grateful for the continued support of our compassionate community.
